Alpen Sundown

Alpen Sundown is a very reasonable substitute for KA's Mocha Katie. Petals are always edged with picotee, but some plants also produce streaked petal as shown in our pictures. A farm favorite.

Very good tuber production and very consistent blooms. Does quite well in high temperatures. Non-fussy variety to grow, but tuber storage is a little more challenging though the nice tuber production can offset the challenges. Tubers may be small.
